Dr. (Mrs.) Pramila, the Director of the institution took up her academic pursuit as a Lecturer in the Department of Physics at Modern College, (affiliated to the Pune University), where she taught BSc Physics and BSc Computer Science students. She was also in charge of conducting and supervising the students’ laboratory sessions. Dr. Pramila was involved in the evaluation of Pune University and BSc Final Examination papers. Regular student counselling was also taken up by Dr. Pramila during her tenure at Modern College.
After moving to Bengaluru in 1989, she took up private coaching in Mathematics and Physics for 10th, 11th and 12th standard students (ICSE, ISC, CBSE, State and IB syllabi) which has continued till date.
Dr. Pramila uses the ‘Personalized Training’ approach, which focusses on the different needs of every individual, and has to her credit a total of over 800 students. All of the students that she has guided are well placed in life, having studied in premier professional colleges. The average score of
her students in Physics and Mathematics has been in the range of 85 – 95%.
She has also conducted special coaching for many students in logic and business Mathematics for MBA entrance exams. Students under her guidance for competitive examinations like CET, COMEDK, AIEEE, NEET and several other competitive examinations have obtained excellent ranks.
Her greatest personal strengths are her patience and her straight forward, open nature, in addition to her extensive knowledge and several decades of experience. Her approach is not only systematic but also flexibile. Dr. Pramila is well loved and respected by her students for being an inspring
mentor and an insightful teacher, knowing when to be lenient and when to be strict.
Dr. Pramila is a multilingual person and speaks fluently in English, Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Gujarati, and Konkani. She takes interest in Music and Reading.
